Cafe Delizia
Shop 2, Hyde Park Towers
148 Elizabeth St, Sydney
NSW, Australia

This’ll teach me to enter a cafe becuase there are good looking waitresses working there.

Rushing from work to Hyde Park for some fresh air I almost walked straight past Cafe Delizia. The interior is cavernous… really big. It looked nice enough, it smelled like coffee and the walls were a lovely dark warm tone of paint. Maybe a perfect place to sit and hang. Alas I was rushing so a takeaway was all i could order… if anyone actually had wanted to take my order that is.

I am assuming the guy behind the counter was the owner, if not the owner should have been there to kick his arse. I watched him for a minute or so as he stuffed food into his shaved head and watched me watch him. Finally he asked me what I wanted and I ordered my usual review coffee, a regular latte.

The coffee they use is Lavazza… so nothing needs to be said about the blend. I tried to make small talk and he grumbled one word answers at me while he scowled at the waitresses hiding in the back of the cafe.

He gave me my coffee, I paid and was outta there super fast.

I wish i could say he made the coffee badly, but in fact it was quite good. Having said that i can’t see myself going back. There are much better options closer to work.
