Situated at the top of the main drag of Katoomba, Zuppa has long been a favourite of mine on those weekend getaways to the Blue Mountains. The cuisine is Australian/Italian, the ambiance typically Blue Mountains relaxed and the coffee of a decent standard.

My favourite place to sit here is outside on the street to watch tourists and locals alike stream by. The food is actually quite good, and while the service can be a bit slow (we are in the Blue Mountains after all) the coffee is well made. I can’t remember which generic brand they use, maybe Vittoria, but they make it well and it deserves a stop for a sit down chat and sip.
